Scott Stewart, Managing Director

Scott began working in the general insurance Industry in 1997 and as a result has extensive industry experience managing a broad range of personal and business clients. In 2009 he was appointed the Broker to AMA Queensland – specialising in broking insurance for medical professionals. Scott has a reputation for going the ‘extra mile’ for his clients and takes enormous pride in finding effective solutions at the most competitive price.

In addition to serving clients, Scott also plays an important role in running the business and problem-solving the day-to-day issues which arise. Scott has a Diploma in Financial Services (Broking) and is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB). Outside of the office, Scott can be found enjoying time with his family and friends or enjoying some time at the track in his race car.

Lizzie Nelson, Director

Lizzie began working in the general insurance industry in 2004. Having years of experience providing brokering services for some of Australia’s largest companies, Lizzie’s dedication to her clients is second to none. As a Director of Insurance Mentor, Lizzie is responsible for client management, strategy implementation and managing the business alongside Scott Stewart.

When not in the office Lizzie can be found enjoying the beautiful Gold Coast sunshine with her husband and toddler.

Kiri Canavan, Senior Account Manager

Kiri is an Account Manager at Insurance Mentor and has a keen interest in Construction and Commercial risks.

Having worked with prominent builders throughout Australia, Kiri provides exemplary service to all clients she assists, and is dedicated to producing an excellent result at all times.

Kiri enjoys motor biking, hiking and mountain climbing.

Jazmin Kopec, Account Manager

Jazmin is an Account Executive and focusses on commercial insurance portfolios for clients throughout Australia. Jazmin is involved in various teams within Insurance Mentor and is a valued member of our group.

When not in the office Jazmin spends her time at the beach with her beloved dog Bruno.

Gayleen Middleton, Senior Account Manager

Gayleen began working in the area of General Insurance in 1999 and holds her Diploma in Financial Services (General Insurance).  With more than 20 years of industry experience she has managed a broad range of business and personal clients.  Gayleen has always aimed to provide her clients with an exceptional personal level of service. Her focus is on building a relationship with a client as their trusted professional insurance advisor ensuring that they have confidence that she is someone who understands them, their business, and their insurance needs.

Outside of the office, her time is spent with her family and friends and planning her next overseas holiday.

Jessica Wright, Account Manager

Joining the Insurance Mentor team in April of 2022, Jessica brings knowledge in both the broking and underwriting ends of insurance.

Jessica’s expertise focuses heavily on mid-market SME & commercial property owner risk. In addition to commercial risk, Jessica has extensive knowledge of motor vehicles, particularly of the exotic and high-performance calibre. Finally, Jessica enjoys the claims process and consistently ensures her clients are satisfied and supported throughout these times.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time at the gym, or beach or relaxing with her two cats Mango & Peppa.

Nikki Rich, Account Executive

Nikki is an Account Executive, joining the Insurance Mentor team in 2021. She specialises in the General Insurance area having worked in Banking and Finance for close to 10 years prior to moving to the Broking Industry.

Nikki is dedicated to providing trusted, efficient and approachable services to all of her clients. When she’s not in the office you’ll find her on the beaches of the Gold Coast, spending time with her family and friends.

Isabella Howells, Account Executive

Bella started working in the Insurance Industry at 17, working her way up the ladder to land at Insurance Mentor in June of 2022. Bella’s expertise focuses on SME portfolios and domestic risks, and she takes enormous gratification in finding effective policies at a competitive premium.

Bella prides herself on her relationships with her clients, and her dedication to providing excellent results for all. On the weekends, Bella enjoys spending time with her three dogs and baking treats for her family.

Jasmine Briskey, Senior Account Manager

Jasmine has been in the insurance broking industry since 2007 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Insurance Mentor. Jasmine services an extensive range and size of client organisations across varied industries and is driven by building long-lasting relationships with her clients and tailoring insurance solutions to their specific needs.

When Jasmine is not at work, you can find her enjoying some downtime and fresh air with 3 kids and husband.
